Anne-Laure Perquel
ASSOCIATE
An associate at Phillips & Paolicelli, LLP since 2023, Ms. Perquel concentrates on medical malpractice cases as well as birth defect cases caused by parental exposure to toxic chemicals.
Prior to joining the firm, Anne-Laure worked as an associate practicing medical malpractice defense for three years before choosing to transition to the plaintiff’s side to help the severely injured. She has extensive medical knowledge, a keen understanding of HIPAA privacy laws, and is known for her compassion and patience in handling sensitive and difficult situations.
Anne-Laure has additional legal experience in plaintiff’s personal injury, civil rights, and employment discrimination. Anne-Laure has also done volunteer work in Jamaica, Grenada, and Saint Lucia, in particular helping victims of domestic violence. Anne-Laure is fluent in French.
Anne-Laure received her LL.M. in international law and justice from Fordham University School of Law, and her LL.B. from the University of Plymouth in the UK. Anne-Laure is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She has been included in the list of Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2022 and 2023.
